Helen Gniot from Germany arrived for eight months of volunteering, working mostly at Jan & Oscar House with her friend Laura, who is also from APO Oberhausen. Both young women are fitting in very well with the girls at their house. Welcome aboard Helen!
Laura's parents, Sasha and Lilly, and her gorgeous little sister came to visit her from Germany and spent a lovely few days playing with the kids. They then travelled around Thailand for a fortnight. Laura's family also made a generous donation to Sarnelli House, as did many of their friends. Thank you all for your interest and support.
Angela and Joop from asiankidzsupport in the Netherlands came for another visit. They are very generous donors to one of our university students, having already helped to guide another recent graduate on his journey through college life. We are always happy to see them and hope they will visit again soon.
Fr. Shea's niece, Caitrin O' Shea, came all the way from the USA to spend time with her uncle and all the staff and children at Sarnelli House. Caitrin brought a great energy and life with her and it was a pleasure for all having her here, especially uncle Michael!
Longtime friend of Fr. Mike, and regular visitor to Sarnelli House, Tony Zola arrived the week before Christmas with a cooked turkey, stuffing and gravy, allowing staff and guests to have an early Christmas dinner. Tony always brings warmth, knowledge and a great sense of fun with him and it was wonderful to see him once again.
