The children headed back to school this week, after two long months of holidays. Some were happier than others but the most excited of all were the four little girls who had their first day at kindergarten, joining seven other toddlers from House of Hope and St. Patrick’s. They looked vey sweet in their slightly too big uniforms, with their much too big backpacks on their shoulders. They listened to instructions, albeit suspiciously, about being good children, collected their milk and snacks and off they headed. They returned a few hours later (mornings only for the first week), very happy to see their house mothers, full of news and stories about their day. Here’s hoping their education journey is a positive one.
