The last day before the return to school saw our annual sports day. Organised with the help of Nong Khai group, Foundation for Child & Youth Development, it was a fun day for all of the kids. They were selected on rival teams, pink and blue and everyone participated in races, volleyball, chair ball, tug of war, relays and other activities. The cheerleading was continuous throughout the day, and each team was bedecked in all sorts of pageantry! The costumes and signs took days to make. The games were preceded by a very colourful parade, led by excellent drummers and baton twirling cheerleaders. At the end of the day, the pink team was declared the winners, but nobody minded as everyone had great fun. The staff joined in the games and it was an exhausted bunch who tramped home on Monday evening. Here are some pictures from the day
