Contributing to a healthy diet

With the cold season past there are not so many vegetables that can survive the real hot season. However it’s only warming up now so there are still green and healthy vegetables ready to be eaten raw or cooked. The 2 rai of land recently purchased on a dirt road a short walk from Sarnelli House is being used solely for  growing vegetables. A well has been sunk and electricity connected and a little house built for the worker that has to care for the land and guard against theft.  Corn is planted and long green beans are being picked. Tomatoes have just about run their course but little red chillies plants are bursting with red heat. Pak boon and asian salad leaves are still growing. Pumpkin, cucumber coriander (cilantro) are also being grown. It’s great to know that the kids will get chemical free and fresh green vegetables in season.
