Leon and Henriette from Stichting Vreinden van Sarnelli in The Netherlands resumed their regular activities which included getting the pool in top shape for the season of swimming, making French fries for all the kids and teaching the girls to sew skirts which was a new and very popular activity.
Welcome back to Debbie Willis from the UK. She once again came laden with presents and enthusiasm and love for all the kids. It was bingo, decorating a girls dormitory by teaching the girls to make dream catchers and supervising cleaning, swimming supervision, caring for the babies at House of Hope, Tesco and movie trips and lots more.
Angela, Joop and the board of Asian Kidz Support came for a visit, to meet the children who have benefitted from their sponsorship, to spend time with the little ones at House of Hope and to run an exciting sports day for all of the kids. It was great to see them and enjoy their infectious spirit.
The team from Thai Beverage returned and this time donated goods for a hair salon, Khun Lek taught the teenage girls hair dressing skills and it was a great success and will continue after they have gone. Khun Wang did his usual amazing art lessons and the whole team contributed to a great week for the kids. Thank you Thai Beverage.
Therese from Australia arrived for her first stint of volunteering and was a great help with all the activities from the constant swimming supervision to arts and crafts and supervising the play room. Come back again Therese!
Jonathan from Israel came for 2 weeks and joined in the daily football with all the kids and the swimming as well as music and arts and crafts.
