November 2017 visitors

It was sad to say farewell to Br. Wing from the Philippines who spent six months at Sarnelli House learning English and bringing his artistic skills, his cooking skills, his medical skills and his compassion and humour to all the children and staff. It was Br. Wing who was responsible for the lovely new murals adorning the walls of our hall and the dining room at Jan & Oscar house. He is moving onto ministry in Chiang Mai and we all miss him very much.

Welcome to Margaux Piccard from Switzerland, a volunteer from the Jan and Oscar Foundation. She is here for 4 months and will be staying in the girls house in Vienghuk and teaching English across the road at Rosario School.

Students and teacher Khun Shirley and Fr David from Ruam Rudee International School in Bangkok came for their annual visit and went shopping for underwear, hygiene products, powdered milk for the babies, diapers and sports equipment for the children.  They were enthusiastic and great fun and we look forward to seeing them again next year.
