Barbara and Rainer Rudl, and their son Benjamin, from APO in Germany came for the annual visit. They met old friends and new, and helped out with the children and staff. Barbara also led reflections for the APO volunteers, Paul and Chrissy. Thank you to the Rudl family and all at APO who support Sarnelli House
Andre from Germany, a long time friend of Sarnelli House, came after a gap of six years to visit and reconnect with all. He was a great help taking care of the sick and it was lovely to see him again.
Carina, also from APO Germany, came for two weeks of volunteering and the girls at Jan and Oscar loved having her stay. She showed kindness and intelligence during her short stay.
Carl and Anne Gross and Pat Orr from the UK came to see us again and spread their warmth and generosity. They make for great company and have such a good understanding of the work being done here. Thank you to all their supporters in the UK as well.
Ten male students from grades 8 and 9 from Collegium Josephinum Bonn, Germany and their two teachers, visited with Fr. David Jiang for two days. They played great games of football with the kids, boys and girls. The team shared their time with the Redemptorist Disabled School in Nongkhai and the children of Sarnelli House. The girls at Our Lady of Refuge were particularly sad to see them leave!
Anne O’Riordan, mother of Brian, came form Cork, Ireland to visit her daughter in law, the wonderful Kate. She took some kids out for pizza, shopping and ice cream and spent time at the House of Hope nursery.
